Snow

We love the cabin, It is warm and cozy and always available! I feel blessed to have Grandparents that are always willing to let us go and even stock it with new heaters that are even kid friendly (Van loves to sit and look at it). Jason and I never pay attention so when we went up on Saturday we had no idea that snow was in the forecast. Sunday morning was beautiful and Landon loved it!
One of the only times Van had a smile on his face, not a snow kid!
Poor Grandpa can never get away from Landon and if you look closely you can see the snow coming down.

Dad and his boys!
Saturday night when we got to the cabin we were happy to find that not all the snow had melted, if only we would have watched the weather report we would have known that was not going to be a problem!

Gracen and Landon made the best snow angels!

Christmas was great! We enjoyed a high speed morning at our house, Landon went from one thing to the next, the paper was flying, and he loved it!! Van enjoyed himself but went at a much slower pace but, no worries Landon helped him catch up at the end. The whole down stairs was a disaster but, at least it was fun watching them destroy it ~ that's something that is truly only said once a year! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Merkey for spending the morning with us. Then we got to head over to my moms house for some yummy Christmas dinner and then to the Merkley's where we able to talk to Brandon. We hope everyone made some great Christmas memories this year!

It was a. . . .mouse . . . .maybe not!

He has earned the name chunky monkey for a reason. Van took "eating the spatula" a little to literal. It was covered in cinnamon roll filling but, I guess that was not enough for him. Sorry Grandma, we went to buy you a new one today since you don't like that one any more.

Lazy, with a very creative twist!

I would love to tell about the horrible accident that left Landon with this band-aid but, there is only a story to tell. Jason was out of town and I swear Landon is always at his finest when Dad is gone. We got up and I was trying to get out the door and all Landon wanted to do was sit on the couch and watch T.V., which makes me so FRUSTRATED. I told him to get up and get his shoes, brush teeth and all he managed to to was get up find the box of band-aids and cover his feet with them. When I went back down stairs to get him he explained to me how his feet were "broken" and how he could not do anything but sit and watch his cartoons. He did have more band-aids on but I ripped them off before I thought of taking a picture & you can't see his face for a reason. I wish the t.v. plug was reachable!
