Oh The Places We Go! We have been busy this week and it has been fun. Tuesday my mom took the boys and I to the Phoenix Zoo. The weather was great and the boys had fun. Of course they had to fight over every telescope--to be expected. I was grateful that Landon did not figure out until the last one that he needed to put money in it to make it work. They loved the elephants, lions, tigers, little monkeys, snakes, frogs, giraffes, but I think the favorite of the day was the Orangutans. There was a little one that was playing peek a boo with a sheet, it was so cute.
This picture is for Van he has been looking at it on my camera for two days.
Listen close you might be able to hear him yelling
Tiger ROAAAR if your in a five mile radious of us!
Van roared his lungs out at that lion! He thought he could wake him but no luck.

Everyone needs a picture with a blue frog, right?!

Schnepf Farms, here we are!!

First stop of course.......the Choo Choo Train!!

(Van would not have it any other way)

Landon got to ride right behind us with his cousin Delilah and Uncle Jared

Landon~Olivia (the birthday girl)~Van~Delilah

They all love the carousel

Landon can't be normal in a pic, must be a boy thing?!

We rode all the rides at least twice some three times and to my surprise I would say they had the most fun running wild through the corn maze! I took this pic and thought for sure something had spilt on my camera but now I am pretty sure that is dirt flying through the air! What do ya think? I never cleaned the lens and the next day it was fine.

A little out of order but this is us entering the maze--aka the huge cloud of dust.

It was fun and I would totally go again. Thanks Sam for the invite we had a blast!

Happy Third Birthday Olivia!

Here comes the...ring boy!

Brandon and MaKennas Wedding Day
October 8th 2009
Can you see the excitement in the ring boys eyes?! He may not have wanted to do it or wear the "stupid" clothes but Landon did it and did a great job! I also have to add that they both looked handsome!!
Landon Dad and Van
Even though he was not the ring boy we dressed him in his best!

Landon and Bodin enjoyed the candy bar-but not as much as Van!

Whitney and Tommy were in the right place at the right time because they are the only ones that I got a picture of (besides my kids).
This one makes me laugh!
While Van got candy from the candy bar (and filled his pockets) Landon enjoy the night dancing - this is him doing the robot.
Landon and Grandma
Congrats Brandon and MaKenna your wedding was beautiful!
I do realize I am terrible for not taking any pictures of you guys but I sure you have plenty!! Enjoy your new life together!

Great Day!!

Yesterday my Mom, Whitney, and I loaded up the kids and went out for the day. The weather was perfect! We road the train at McCormick Railroad Park and I think Whitney said it best "this is Vans Disneyland"! He was truly in heaven he ran around yelling "Hi Thomas Hi Thomas", he snuck onto the engine of the train and just kept petting it. We had a nice picnic and played at one of the little parks. They loved it!!

After the park we decided to really wear them out so off we went to Bounce U.

Lets just say it worked and Van made it though the door and crashed for hours!
Mission Accomplished it was a Great Day!
Thanks everyone for going or sending your kids along!

WeLcOmE fAlL

I kind of feel like I have been a boring mom lately. We have been busy doing normal stuff and I don't think I have been very good about doing "fun kid stuff". So we put an end to that this weekend. We brought in October with a bang!! We started by enjoying the fabulous morning weather at the dig at the park.

Followed by some making some "SPOOKY play dough" I love this recipe it is the no cook kind so the boys can help with all of it. Landon picked the color and and the accessories.
I love it and it has provided them with hours of fun!
Last night when Jason left for the Priesthood session of conference I decided that I was not going to sit at home this time. I always sit at home while he gets spiritually fed and then follows up with a great dinner with his fam. I called my mom and off we went. Bodin was sleeping over so Landon, Bodin, Van, and I picked her up and took her to the dinner.. Target food court! Definitely not what she had in mind but she was a good sport and came along anyway. The boys love the pizza and I love that they have some freedom to roam with out hitting a waitress. After we were done we checked out all the Halloween stuff and were off to get some dessert. If only I had my camera :(
At Yogurt Jungle they made some interesting
yet tasty yogurt.
Chocolate yogurt+sprinkles+
nerds+blueberries+gummy bears= delicious?!
They sure thought so, they ate it all while
throwing pennies into the fountain out front!
(I am amazed they did not get sick)
We dropped of Grandma and then toured the neighborhood for some Halloween houses. We found some good ones and they were so excited when we got home they dug in and now my decor is all set up out front. They did a good job-we have the whole pack of 100 creepy critters in the front yard! I think most of them will disappear from kidos walking by, but at least the boys had fun doing it!

Landon's hair has gotten really long. It is a little
(okay A LOT) out of control. Landon got up the other day
looked in the mirror and says,
"MY HAIR HAD A PARTY LAST NIGHT"!!

Oh, yes it did!!
Soccer has started and he is doing good for his first time. He is a Black Stallion! He also got a goal in the game yesterday! Good Job!
He has been trying to catch a lizard for months and much to my surprise he FINALLY got one. He was so excited and I was excited when he decided
he really needed to live outside!
good-bye lizard--oh, and sorry about your tail!
That would be what Landon's been up to.

The last couple weeks I have questioned why my boys (mostly Van) have beds?!

Sweet Dreams!
