Same thing new Location

Yesterday morning Van gets up goes to the bathroom and I leave him on his stool because it takes him FOREVER to wash his hands. I am in the kitchen doing the dishes when I hear the thud and scream. He has done it again, huge bump on his head but this time it is in a new location, the back. I don't know how he always manages to cover himself in bumps and bruises. This one was good, I almost took him in to the doctor, he cried for over an hour which is soooo not like him. Poor kid, I hope he makes it through childhood with out any permanent damage.

It had this lump within two minutes, trust me picture does not due it justice.

Water Time!

I am always so slow at getting things posted on here but better late than never. Sara invited us to go to the pool with them a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun! Landon was every where, he did the whirlpool, swam in the "deep side" and was all over the slides. I am so glad he can swim by himself. Van also enjoyed himself and does really well in his shark (the best pool float ever made). He had fun hanging out with Maecyn and was nice to her the whole time!! I was super excited about that. Thank you Sara for inviting us to your family outing, we love you guys!
Enjoy the awesome pictures, courtesy of Sara.

Diamondbacks vs Dodgers!

The Dbacks Won! No one would have guessed that!
Thanks Whitney for taking us along to the baseball game last week. We loved it and had a great time. The all you can eat seats were great!

Van joined right in and clapped every time anyone clapped, he cheered for both teams.
A little out of order here but they had a good little firework show after the game.

Van is terrified of people in costume's and the geico gecko can near the section we were sitting in. Van screamed everyone stared!
This would be us. We missed Landon but he was so excited to have a sleepover at Bodins and I know he had tons of fun there. Thanks Cobb's for having him over, he is still talking about all the stuff he did at your house, sorry!

TP is in high demand

Not the best pictures but this is Van doing some of his stair tricks in his big boy undies! That is right, I am so happy to say that he has officially mastered going on the potty! I had to wait to post this for fear I would ruin a great thing but he has not had an accident for weeks! Great job Van you are 22 months old and officially potty trained!!!! LOVE IT

*This kid loves the stairs, he can jump, go head first on his tummy, slide down backwards faster than Jason can run down them (yes, they have raced), he holds the rail and does the monkey bar down, walks along the top wall, steam rolls down and climbs every stair gate. I won't lie his love of stairs is quite scary and I have no idea how to put an end to it*

Yummy!!

This was the best watermelon ever!! My dad grew this beast in his garden, it weighed in at 48 pounds! Jason and I each took a side and it took us over a 1/2 hour to cut it up.
Delicious!

The boys could not wait to dig into it.

Funny Story

Landon walks down the stairs first thing in the morning and as he rounds the corner to the kitchen he does the half asleep look at the t.v., sits down for his morning cup of chocolate milk and says "whats on today....dead people or Jesus?" When you think about it they do have a lot of dead people and Jesus sightings on fox ten news, arizona mornings!

SoMe StUFf We DiD In ThE Az HeAt!

This summer has gone by so fast. We have done nothing but been completely busy at the same time. We have hit the pools, water slides, had sleeps overs, and parties! Since it is August I need to catch up....get ready here are the things we did in July, in no particular order!

Landon's Party

Landon and I had a fabulous birthday! We were very spoiled and got to celebrate all weekend. We started with Landon's party on Saturday the 11th. Thanks for everyone who came out to party with him. He loved the whole party, even the UFC fights that the big boys had to watch.

I don't know why put I only got one water slide picture and it is not very good, oh well.

Candle Time!

The boys ate and ate, but only the tops. I can't blame them I do the same thing.

Landon and Bodin, they are best buds!

Van enjoyed helping himself

Present opening was a group thing. Thank you everyone for all the great stuff.

Sunday was our actual birthday it was a nice relaxing day. My mom had us over for dinner and it was good, some of my favorites were made! Monday Jason suprised me and took the day off, which never ever happens. He took me shopping for my birthday presents and Grandma Merkley took Landon shopping for his birthday present, worked out great. We meet back up at the Merkley's house for some great mexican food. As you can see we were definitely spoiled and had a wonderful birthday weekend. I love Landon. I love watching him grow, learn, and try new things. I love the good big brother that he is. I love being able to celebrate our birthdays together every year. Can't wait to see what this year brings!
