It is that time of the year where we are all sitting around fields.  Landon is playing flag football.  I pretty much forced him into it and I am glad I did he loves it.

Van is playing soccer.
He kicks but he really LOVES to block.  Pretty sure Van will play defense better in every sports he does.  I think defense just goes with his personality better.

Gunner and Landon having some fun at Vans game :)

Mr. Gunner

Random pictures of Gunner from my recent camera download....
He hates naps and I have quit trying but about once a week I find him crashed somewhere.

Have to love when they leave he bathroom with the TP still in hand.

Yup, it was all around.
Gunner and I had a bed time battle.  I had had it and Jason was not home.  I told him that if I saw him again he was going to be in a LOT of trouble.  He was smart enough to stay at the top of the stairs and out of sight.  You can see in the close ups the result of the head buts to the door during the tantrum.  So Much Fun :(

Really who can sleep like this?!

He was mad the other day because I would not get him any chocolate milk.  He went ahead and got himself a cup of nesquik and just drank that.  YUCK!

Look at the beard that leaves.  Puts Ben's to shame if you ask me.
Last but not least.  Gunner is so attached to Bear.  Bear goes many places with us.  I always say that he is my fifth kid.  Marlene got Landon this bear when he was born and Landon loved it and than Gunner took him over.  Landon was always mad so I looked into getting another one and quickly discovered that he is now a Ty collectible.  This Ty PJ Bear is going for a $100.00 fat dollars.  I did luck out and found one missing the pj's so I got it for a steal, ha not really still cost me $40.00.  Anyway I thought that the back up bear could come in handy but Gunner smelled it, felt it and threw it back at me.  Sunday we went to Claire's blessing and Bear was with us.  We got almost home and discovered he did not make it in the car so we turned around to get him.  We searched the house and left empty handed.  It was a looong night.  They were kind enough to search for him and Damon found him.  Late Monday night we got this text from Damon....

Bear had been found.  Thanks Damon for the laugh.  Gunner was so excited when we picked him up on Tuesday that he held Bear in front of his face and yelled, I LOVE YOU BEAR for hours!

Five

HELLO, I AM FIVE!!!
To celebrate he got up at five and found his present first thing.

We made some slime monsters to waste time until the rest of the world got up.

Birthday Party Time at BounceU.
You had soooo much fun!

Birthday King!

He was to busy at his party to eat his cake so I saved him some to have the next day.
Van Man you make me old.  He are extremely quick with your words.  You are always into/doing something.  You can be the craziest little boy but are also so loving when you want to be.  I have to say that karma has come back to me on this one and I am sure Jane is having a good laugh every time you run away.  Sorry, Jane!  You have no fear, just last week you were so excited to show me your new trick.  You climbed right up on the brick wall outside and then did a front flip onto the tramp.  YIKES, I was terrified.  You love your brothers and are especially awesome with Zev.  You are a huge help with him.  Thank you buddy!  Love you.

Teeth

Landon has been loosing teeth like crazy.  He knocked one out on the trampoline when his knee hit his tooth.  Luckily it was a loose one.  Next think I know Van is outside trying to do the same thing because he wanted money.  Lucky for him the tooth fairy was very nice and gave him a dollar that night and a note that explained how if you knock your own tooth out on purpose you do not get paid for that tooth.  Phew it worked.

About a week later the boys were downstairs on a Saturday morning watching cartoons.  Van decided that he wanted to play video games and NEEDED Landon to join him.  Landon did not want to and Van did not take that well.  Van grabbed the remote and paused the T.V.  Fight was on!!  Punches were thrown and thenVan threw a head but and knocked Landon's not loose at all tooth out.  Landon ran upstairs to show us the damage.  Van, well, he ran to his room.

We had to punish both of them since they were both fighting.  They got to scrub the walls (yeah for me), I got to scrub the blood trail up the stairs (boo), and Van was also grounded from video games all week.
Have to love boys and there fights.

Preschool

Better late than never...Van started preschool in September.  He is doing great this year.  The only time he has thrown a fit and not wanted to go inside was when I sent him with the tuition in his back pack.  He saw the cash and wanted it, I told him that he could not have it, that it was for his teacher to pay them for school.  I had to drag him out the car, he decided that if he did not go to school then he could keep the money for himself.  WRONG!!  Van you keep me on my toes.  You are one smart kid that thinks every thing through.

Big Z was having some issues with his head.  See you miss shaped it is.  It had to be fixed, mostly because the odds of him having hair to cover it up his whole life is slim to none.  We are two months in to the helmet and I have to say that it is a pain but it is also very awesome.

It helps keep him save in moments like this, and there are a lot of moments like this.

Zev you wear it well!  You are one handsome dude with it on.

Big Boy

Not sure what setting the boys had set my camera to...wow, my brown wall looks very yellow.  Anyway, check out this big boy in his underwear.  They have to have a super hero on them or he will not wear them, he makes me crazy!  I made the mistake of forcing him to wear a shirt that was not one he approved of and lets just say that he ended up walking through target with out the shirt on.  Yup, we looked high class!  I can not risk the same fight again, especially when it is underwear.
He wanted to make sure that the back was also seen.
I have to say he was by far my worst one to potty train. I hate loosing and did loose the first time I tried.  On round one he did great the first two days and I thought for sure we were in the clear, wrong. He got up and said no potty, he decided that he was not going to do, he is so stubborn.   Lets just say that urine was places that it never should have been and I think it was the first time that I just cried because I was soooo mad at the kid.  I had to take a month-ish off and then give it another try.  I am so glad that round two went smoother.  Gunner you are the first one that has not been potty trained by two, you mastered it at 26 months.

Guess I should get to work and resizing all the diapers for Zev.

First Grade

Off to his first day of First grade with Mrs Flores.

After school when asked how his day was he said, horrific!  He loves school.  He always says how bad it is but deep down I am sure he loves it.  Really he is just mad that Van has not started preschool yet.  He does like school, mostly just the social part of it and he never wants to do homework.
Since Jason is always having to fix those AC units during the summer and can't get away we took a quick staycation at the Arizona Grand Resort.  We spent every moment in the water, every one of our kids think they are a fish.  Landon even went on the huge water slide and hated it.  He did go on the short twist one later on and liked that one.

We went over to Arizona Mills and hit the Rainforest Cafe' for dinner.  The boys loved it.  Zev even sat in the stroller and watched the fish for quite a while.  Him sitting and not screaming rarely happens.

Gunner slept for most of dinner, he got up just in time for dessert.  Go figure!
Great weekend!!
