Hats, I love them when they leave them on, but when they take them off you get a picture like this.  Landon had a short but great soccer season.  He loves it and is really good at it.  Were are keeping our fingers crossed that next season is not cut short by a broken bone.  Good Job Landon!!
Do you see a problem with this?!  Well, lets just say that one of my boys did not.  It was worse, there was more tape holding all the broken pieces on but I did not get the picture taken quick enough.
I asked why it was taped together and Van grined from ear to ear as he told me he fixed it.  Oh, he was so proud.  Don't worry this eye soar has been trashed.

Than we have this.  Van got it from the store and asked if he could eat it, I told him he could eat three, because he was three.  A couple of minutes later he says "mom, I read the directions and it says to eat as many as you want while you sit and watch t.v.".
As we were driving in the car the other day he say "what is wrong with Jesus this light has been red to long"!  Try explaining to a three year old that it is controlled by modern technology, all I can say is this kid always surprises me and keeps me laughing!
 And drives me crazy :)

Oh Gunner at 9 months you are a very happy boy with no teeth, that is a first for us your brothers had a mouth full by now but yours are in sight just not through.  I will say that you manage to eat whatever you set your mind.  You keep me on my toys you have been crawling for months and are standing up pushing your toys around.  One of your favorite things to push is your high chair, especially when Roman is it!

Broken Landon

The nurse called from Landon's school last Monday to have me pick him up because he fell off the play set on the playground.  Being the extra cautious parent that I am I rushed him to the doctor and got him fixed up nice and quick!!

End result, broken elbow.
Luckily, it is the best part
 of the elbow to break.
What a way to bring in the new year,
lots of sickness, broken bone; come on medical bills
keep rollin' in.
By the way I did not take him in to the doctor that day, I waited it out, I can admit I was wrong, should have taken him in sooner. But, I was not the only one that had doubts about the injury, when I told Van we had to get Landon from school early because he was hurt he said "mom, tell him he is fine, tell him to toughen up"!  Hmmm, that does sound very familiar, it must run in the family, for many generations!

I didn't have school Monday so Jason took the day off, it was great!  We surprised the boys and took them to Build a Bear.  They loved it.  Landon made a coyote which is funny because Van is terrified of coyotes!  Van played it safe and made a monkey, "a monkey can save me by swinging me in a tree".

The finished product is Backpack (yup, Van named his Backpack) and Scrape.

Gunner also had to have a fun day with us so he decided he would say his first word....dada!  I love it know I can always say Jason you go get him after all he is calling for you!  Landon didn't want Gunner to feel left out during there photo session with my camera so he got a lot of pictures of him, this was the best one.

Soccer

Soccer season has begun.  Landon loves it and is a good little player.  He is a competitive one, he wants to win. He makes goals, blocks, and is always in the mix of things.  I glad he loves it because it is a time consuming sport.  Thanks mom for helping out and taking him all the times I can't, which is a lot!

You clean up nice

It is not everyday, really only once or twice a
year that the boys all wear ties, so
I thought I'd snap a quick shot!  Landon refused to smile.
