This morning we died Easter eggs.  I love to dye them outside in the grass it is mess free, however, we don't have grass yet so we borrowed my parents yard.  We got every thing ready and the party began.

Gunner left the egg dying party, walking of course because that is his new way of transportation, even gave a little wave on his way out....
To work on the hose bib...
I guess he got thirsty!  Boys will always be boys!!
And this bird sat and watched the whole party.  I guess he was mad the tree got trimmed.

Happy Birthday!  My Dad had a birthday so of course we had a little party.  Rachel made an awesome cake.  It was a huge turtle and can you guess the flavor, that's right turtle.  It was even better than the turtle candies!  Mmm so good!

Grandpa hanging out with some of his grand boys.  They love playing with him.  Thanks Dad for taking time to play with the kids, they love all the turtle feeding, golf ball hunting and irrigating you do with them.
For Grandpa's 60th birthday we got him 60 things he loved, CANDY, and lets just say Gunner stayed close to the box the whole night.  He was even able to get a butterfinger open and loved it!

Fooled ya

So, we got moved into our new house the end of March, it was a quick move (we found it and closed on it in three short weeks) we just went across the street into another neighborhood.  Anyway, April 1st is here and I could not resist.  The boys got up in the morning came downstairs to breakfast and I had to break the news to them that Dad did not make enough money and we had to move back to the other house.  I got them boxes and sent them packing.  They were devastated, Landon kept saying, when Dad makes money again were going to have to move back to that one then this one and I don't want to move.  It went on for a while many tears were shed and I had to leave the room because I just couldn't keep a straight face.  It was great but it did come to an end!  Haha, I only did it to you boys because I love you!

Hope everyone had a great April Fools Day :)
Hats, I love them when they leave them on, but when they take them off you get a picture like this.  Landon had a short but great soccer season.  He loves it and is really good at it.  Were are keeping our fingers crossed that next season is not cut short by a broken bone.  Good Job Landon!!
Do you see a problem with this?!  Well, lets just say that one of my boys did not.  It was worse, there was more tape holding all the broken pieces on but I did not get the picture taken quick enough.
I asked why it was taped together and Van grined from ear to ear as he told me he fixed it.  Oh, he was so proud.  Don't worry this eye soar has been trashed.

Than we have this.  Van got it from the store and asked if he could eat it, I told him he could eat three, because he was three.  A couple of minutes later he says "mom, I read the directions and it says to eat as many as you want while you sit and watch t.v.".
As we were driving in the car the other day he say "what is wrong with Jesus this light has been red to long"!  Try explaining to a three year old that it is controlled by modern technology, all I can say is this kid always surprises me and keeps me laughing!
 And drives me crazy :)

Oh Gunner at 9 months you are a very happy boy with no teeth, that is a first for us your brothers had a mouth full by now but yours are in sight just not through.  I will say that you manage to eat whatever you set your mind.  You keep me on my toys you have been crawling for months and are standing up pushing your toys around.  One of your favorite things to push is your high chair, especially when Roman is it!

Broken Landon

The nurse called from Landon's school last Monday to have me pick him up because he fell off the play set on the playground.  Being the extra cautious parent that I am I rushed him to the doctor and got him fixed up nice and quick!!

End result, broken elbow.
Luckily, it is the best part
 of the elbow to break.
What a way to bring in the new year,
lots of sickness, broken bone; come on medical bills
keep rollin' in.
By the way I did not take him in to the doctor that day, I waited it out, I can admit I was wrong, should have taken him in sooner. But, I was not the only one that had doubts about the injury, when I told Van we had to get Landon from school early because he was hurt he said "mom, tell him he is fine, tell him to toughen up"!  Hmmm, that does sound very familiar, it must run in the family, for many generations!
