Hello Winter

We took a quick trip to the rim to play in the snow.  We have to go again soon the boys were not happy when we only stayed an hour or so but it was all the free time we had.  Gunner loved everything about the sled.  He cried every time he had to get off and give the boys a turn.  He didn't even care when he went down the hill smashed between the two of them.

Van and Landon of course, loved it to.  They have always been snow kids.  They sledded, built a snowman (and if are wondering what the stick is Van insisted that the snowman was on a sled, yes, we know it does not look good) and had snowball fights!

Van says, It was AWESOME until we got cold!
I am bummed that these are the only pictures I got from Thanksgiving.  I started the morning off by going to the Turkey Waddle with the boys.  As you can see it wore Gunner out.

Unfortunately, this was all the pictures I got of Thanksgiving :(  We had a great dinner at my parents house, with all the family and even my Dad's side was able to make the long drive to eat with us before heading right back home.  It is a Thanksgiving I will always remember and was glad to be able to sit with my grandparents and hear the stories they had to tell.  Thanksgiving 2011 was a great one :)

Craft time

This year we used our creative side and made ornaments for Lorin's tree.  The boys had a blast doing it.

And after it was all done they all had to hit the tub!

Halloween

-Halloween 2011-
School Parade:Landon was a pirate, from the Pirates Go To School book.

Van at his preschool program

Gunner was a frog.

The boys were star wars.

We carved pumpkins, trick or treat, ate lots of candy and had a great time :)

T-Ball/Baseball

Landon and Van did there first year of Baseball.  They both had lots of fun.
Van was mad that it was not football but he still went out and played.
Climbing the fence was his favorite part.

Landon was a little more in to the game than Van.  He went after the ball and was not afraid of it.

And became quite the hitter.  Good job boys :)

All about Van

He thought Elmo needed a haircut so he gave him one.  Know Elmo has lots of bald spots.

He will do anything to make sure that getting my work done is impossible.  Yes, I did stay up late to make up for my lost work time while he napped at my desk.

He started preschool, he loves it but has to go with a fight everyday.  When I asked him why he throws a fit everyday he said, I have to do that until I remember that I like it!
His teachers learned on his first day that he hates pink.  If you look at the top of his paper where his name was written in pink he fixed that on both of his papers, and made it known how much he hates girl colors.

Van had his FOURTH Birthday :)  He had an angry bird party, angry bird cake, lots of fun at his party, and Jason built him a huge sling shot to shoot his angry bird stuffed animals.  His party was a success.

Van Man we love you happy way belated Birthday!!  You challenge me everyday with your stubborn ways but I LOVE YOU!  Here is one of those you are not leaving this table until you finish your lunch pictures.
