Seeing new brother for the first time...

Couple hours old
 Horrible picture but, oh well.
Baby and Dad

24 hours old and ready to go home just waiting on a name.
We finally have it Zev Easton Merkley!!
I love it, I picked and begged for Zev, I hope you like it :)

One of your first outings.

There is no safe place in this house.
Thanks LeAnn for watching the boys, I love the artwork.

Yes, he did this all on his own :)
Welcome Zev, aka, Big Country our first six days with you have been great!

Just a few thoughts...You were my first to arrive a few days early.  Thank You!  Labor was not bad just a few problems with the epidural but totally worth it!  Why would I not want that?!  You got your Dad out of talking in church that day!  He is grateful for that one.  I finished my last day of work on Friday before my leave so no stress there. Since you came on a Sunday it worked great since your Dad was home and Grandma was not at work so she was able to watch your brothers.  Thanks Mom and Dad!  Also my doctor was on call so Hooray for me, my favorite doc was able to deliver my last three boys.  To top it all off our pediatrician was working at the hospital the next day so he was able to check you out and do your little boy procedure so we didn't have to take you in to the office to get it done :)  All in all it was perfect timing, the only complaint your Dad had was that you came on the hottest day of the year so far so his work phone was ringing the whole day and he got in trouble a few times for answering it.  LOL!  Great day, glad your here, can't wait to see you grow :)
Amazing weather = Watermelon & Outside Fun!

Sometimes it is better to take far shots of the boys because currently they are looking like this...

Van and Landon were tickling each other, (I still do not believe that), when Van fell off the captains bed and landed on the open drawer.  He had the marks for days.

Gunner fell of a big rock onto some more rocks.  Not to bad.

Landon fell off the swing and broke his collar bone.
He gets to wear this fancy brace for the next four weeks.
Nothing like getting up every couple of hours with him for crying and medicine to get me ready for life with a newborn again.

Just  incase your wondering this is his third broken bone in 14 short months and all on playsets.  Poor guy needs to calm down on the playgrounds.

Easter

Lets sum it up, we dyed eggs.
Yes, it was a mess but as you can see they had fun!

We hunted for baskets!  Success they were found and loved.

We hunted for eggs.  They were finally all found.

We went to church to focus on the true meaning of Easter.  I will add the cute picture of them in there Easter cloths when I can get it from Jason.  But, believe me it is a keeper.

April Fools

Van LOVES eggs.  If I would let him he would order his "egg in the middle" everyday.  When he got up and ordered his egg, I had him get everything out and start cooking it.  When he went to crack it open he was not happy that they egg was broken.  (We never eat hard boiled eggs so he had no idea what was wrong.)  Jason went over and cracked his no problems.  Landon went to show him how it was done but his was not working either.

After numerous attempts he called Grandma to tell her that the something was wrong with the chickens, that there eggs were not working anymore.  He was in tears, it was great, he really thought his life of eating eggs in the middle had ended.

Aprils Fools 2012!  I got you again :)

TEXAS

The rest of the trip.  We went to an AMAZING wildlife park.  I think Jason loved it more than the kids.  Thanks Ben for taking pictures of the kids because all Jason got pictures of was the animals.

We went strawberry picking.  They were delicious!

I think this was one of my kids favorite outings...the BEACH!!
The boys stayed in forever, I could not believe how long Gunner stayed in.  He lasted longer than Van.

{Never let me put your sunblock on}

Sadly our trip is over.  The kids were really good on the ride.
We made a day of it on the way home, 21 hours and only two of them were hours not on the road!

THANKS COBB'S FOR HAVING US,
IT WAS AN AMAZING TIME!!!

The Alamo

While we were in San Antonio we went to the Alamo and the River Walk.  It was funny on the way from the hotel Bodin says, there is the Alamo and Landon replies where is Elmo.  Yes, us Arizona people really do not educate our kids about he Alamo.

The large pregnant lady made everyone stop at the fudge shop on the way out, I guess it was kind of cruel of me since all these two wanted to do was sleep.
