TWO

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY GUNNER!!
I didn't get any pictures of the before of the cake so here it is after.  Imagine it triple this size and that was the before.  Gunner loved it, he is always asking for oreos so it only seemed appropriate to make him an oreo cake.
For his birthday we had a Super Hero party with all of his favorite things; hamburgers, hot dogs, oroe's, presents and the water slide.

Thanks everyone for coming.  Hope you had fun we sure did!!

The only thing missing at the party was some ice cream so we had to take care of that.  We cleaned, the birthday boy took a nap and then we were off.  We went to Tempe Splash Pad to celebrate his cousins third birthday and then headed to cold stone to finish the day.  I am pretty sure Gunner got everything he wanted and more.  A few of your favorite things are jumping on the tramp with your brothers, playing with your super hero's, Batman is your favorite but you like all of them, you love to ride your scooter, and at Grandpas you love his go cart, you are a water kid will take as many showers a day as you can, you love to turn on the hose and soak yourself cloths and all, and you won't keep a kiss you wipe every one we give to you.  Makes me laugh and makes it really easy to tease you.  Thanks  for being such a crazy, wild, fun, entertaining boy.  Things never are dull when your around, you keep me on my toes!  Your brothers love playing with you and you sure can keep up with them.

LOVE my Super Heros!!

Congrats Whitney, Tommy and Roman.  Sophie is one cute girl.  We had fun hanging out with Roman in the wee hours of the morning :)
One more soccer season has also come and gone.  Landon of course had to break his collar bone so his season was short but sweat.  He really is a good player and loves to play.  He also had an awesome coach.

Van tolerates the game.  It is not really his thing he still only wants to play tackle football.  Once he gets playing he does great but getting to play can be a challenge.  He had a not so great coach but we stuck it out, played the season and had fun :)

I am excited to be done and have my Saturday mornings back!

One year down

Landon graduated Kindergarten.  He had a great teacher who really made them work.  He passed a timed math test to get into the math fact club.  He got a medal for that so he was very excited!!  He did a great job and is glad to done.  Here are some pics from his graduation.

Van finished his first year of preschool.  I hate to admit this but I forgot my camera for his program.  Luckily his teachers had taken some pictures.  My scanner is not cooperating so I just took a picture of the picture, it's not very good but it works.  Isn't he a cute grad!

Hahaha, this one makes me laugh, it is sooo him!  He did really good at school, loves to play with his friends but still hates having to follow directions.  I love his teachers and am so glad that they are letting him come back next year.  He is not an easy kids and still fights going to school, not because he doesn't like it but because he likes to be stubborn.

Gunner decided that we need to do a little celebration at home so we made some brownies.  Gunner is excited to have his brothers home for the summer!

Fun Day

I'm always late to get things posted...
A month ago we had a family fun Saturday!!  We started the day hanging out outside.  It is amazing how much fun the boys can have in a little water.  Zev was in charge of bear sitting, they both seemed to enjoy themselves :)

After that we went to a Diamondbacks game.  They lost of course but that didn't stop us from having fun.  We also had great seats, row 10,  so that always makes it better  This is the only picture I have with Van in it.  He made friends with the guys next to us and wanted nothing to do with my picture taking.  We did turn some heads with our three week old at the game but he loves being outside and held so he got to go.

What a great day!

We finally have it Zev Easton Merkley!!
I love it, I picked and begged for Zev, I hope you like it :)

One of your first outings.

There is no safe place in this house.
Thanks LeAnn for watching the boys, I love the artwork.

Yes, he did this all on his own :)
Welcome Zev, aka, Big Country our first six days with you have been great!

Just a few thoughts...You were my first to arrive a few days early.  Thank You!  Labor was not bad just a few problems with the epidural but totally worth it!  Why would I not want that?!  You got your Dad out of talking in church that day!  He is grateful for that one.  I finished my last day of work on Friday before my leave so no stress there. Since you came on a Sunday it worked great since your Dad was home and Grandma was not at work so she was able to watch your brothers.  Thanks Mom and Dad!  Also my doctor was on call so Hooray for me, my favorite doc was able to deliver my last three boys.  To top it all off our pediatrician was working at the hospital the next day so he was able to check you out and do your little boy procedure so we didn't have to take you in to the office to get it done :)  All in all it was perfect timing, the only complaint your Dad had was that you came on the hottest day of the year so far so his work phone was ringing the whole day and he got in trouble a few times for answering it.  LOL!  Great day, glad your here, can't wait to see you grow :)
