Last weekend my mom and I had a quick getaway to the cabin. When we got there we were welcomed by the brightest most beautiful stars and cool weather. It was fabulous! Saturday morning we got up and played a bit. They boys were out looking for some wildlife when Van yelled "ants"! He sure is easy to please. I also have to add that this is the first trip that Landon has NOT fallen a fish pond!

Then we were off to Taylor to attend a grave site service. The Hatch's did an amazing job and I am sure there Grandmother was smiling. During the service Van got a little curious when some emergency vehicles went by. You could barley hear them and could not see them, I would have never noticed them if was not for Van yelling "Fire Truck" and off he went to find them. Soon I heard "birds", then he was out of site. I went to go get him and before I got to him I heard
"BEE STING ME"!
Sure enough when I got him he was pulling the stinger out. Leave it to Van to find the only bee and be disruptive.
From there we rushed back home to meet a new addition to the family-
Tanner Scott DeSpain was born Friday night.
Congrats Damon and Rachel he is little and cute and I love the red hair.
Landon is totally bummed that he was not
allowed in the hospital room due to the
"swine flu" but he was able to take
a nap in the lobby to pass the time.
Keep on sleepin' Landon the new parents
are banning any
little people from meeting him for a while.

What a fun weekend! I know Van got stung on his arg, but in that picture it kinda looks like his gut is hanging over his pants! Haha

--Wow, your right it does look like a big belly picture-- Your comment is even funnier because you actually made a typo, looks like you lost some of your smarts at your old age!
