His first two weeks home have been great. A little
(well a LOT) less sleep than I am used to but that's to be expected. You have already had some adventures you have mysteriously been moved from place to place but luckily you have not been dropped.

You have been introduced to black spidey who is around every day. It took a lot of convincing to get Van to take it off for a picture.
Van thought you needed a dog to sleep with you. I thought this was a good picture to post and not one with your head covered up which is usually what he does.
Van does love you! We felt good about giving you the name Gunner because with Van being your older brother we knew there was no way you would be a wimpy boy.
Here is to two weeks down!

Here he is Mom I hope Europe is FUN FUN FUN!!
Congrats Whitney and Tommy!
Roman Thomas is so cute and I am still a little jealous that he is almost two weeks early.
I hope that when Gunner is two he has as much hair as Roman!

We were ready to go, except you still did not have a name. That is how long we waited to decide on your name. I told Jason that no matter what we were not leaving the hospital without one. They told us that they might keep us an extra night due to a low fever you ran the first night and your weight loss. When they came in and told us we were going to be able to leave we were excited and a stressed because that meant we had to make a decision. I got packed loaded you up and Dad picked your first name and I picked your middle. Finally we were ready to take Gunner Grey Merkley home!

This is a horrible picture of me but it is the only one with the boys meeting Gunner
(who was still nameless at this point).
I had an easy and quick delivery once it got started so I can't complain at all. We had a really hard time picking a name for him. I am not sure why it was so hard but I love his name.

Memorial Day
We spent the morning going to our first day of swim lessons and then came home to have some family time on the water slide. It was the first time we got it out this year so they were so excited!

We headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Merkleys house for some great BBQ and more swimming!
Little out of order here but oh well! The week before Gunner came I decided to take the boys on a fun outing for them every day. A few of the places we went was to Mesquite Groves Pool (one of there favorites), the mall to ride the carousel, and to the Splash Pad. I only got the camera out at the splash pad.
