Yesterday was a long day for Landon,
he must have asked 30 times
"how much longer until I leave for Texas?".
He tried to pack all day but
everything he would pack
Van would quickly take out of his suitcase.
Once Van went to bed we got all his stuff together,
his DVD player charged, a book,
and snacks and off to bed he went.
Unfortunately 3 minutes later
he was up and begging me
to not forget to wake him up in the morning.
Then he was up to pack his bear, then this,
then that, it went of for a long time.
At two o'clock this morning he
was waking me to make sure we didn't over sleep.
At 4:30 when I woke him he
jumped out of bed and got
ready faster then he has ever done before.
I think he asked 8 times on the way to the airport
if we were there yet.
After all the waiting he made it onto
the plane with Grandma and Grandpa.
I can only imagine how many times he asked on that plane ride
how much longer until he made it to Bodin.
When I dropped him off I asked him to call me when he got
there to tell me if he liked his
first plane ride and he quickly told me,
"no, maybe I will call tomorrow".
Well he stayed true to his word and we
did not hear from him tonight.
Thanks mom for the picture and keeping us filled in
and the Cobbers for having one extra
kid for the next five days.
