Spring Break

It is spring break and I love it!! I have had so much fun with my boys. I have had three days this week with just us. We have enjoyed the weather and our time together, I have had some great runs with them. I have been running to some of the neighborhoods around us and then we stop for a snack and a play at a new playground, they love it. We have stopped to see all the horses, cows, turtles and every other bug that has been around (sometimes it is not a run at all but a long game of stop and go). It feels great to throw out our daily routine, do things a little different and just enjoy my time with my kids.
I have also done a few productive things Van is know a big boy in his big boy bed. It has been a great transition for him (I hope I don't ruin a good thing) he has not put up much of a fight at nap time and has been getting in bed on his own at night, completely different from Landon!
Landon is becoming a great computer game player! Kind of a scary thought since he has watered the keyboard a couple months ago and completely broke it, I swore that he would never touch my computer but, well, yeah I lied and he enjoys it. As I watch from afar I can see that he is smarter than he lets on. What a stink, we all thought he was color blind but if you watch him without him knowing he is being watch he matches them all perfectly. This just made me laugh, he kept asking yesterday when Mr. Crabs was coming for Patricks Day, I love how they think!
Just a random thought here but I used to think that Jason worked a lot WOW my eyes have been opened! I feel so blessed how things have worked out for us. We knew it was only a matter of time before his days at TW Lewis came to an end in this economy and a new year brought us an unfamiliar feeling of unemployment. We cannot complain TW Lewis was good to us and we will always be grateful to them for the six years they gave us. Now Jason has leaped into the world of AC. He is with a good company and in our eyes it is a recession proof job, who can live without ac, definitely not me! He is doing great and I am amazed how quickly he picks up on things. I also love the company truck, it is not the nicest but who can complain it is a free truck with gas!
Anyway, here is to a great spring break, we hope everyones is as great as ours has been :)
