Happy New Year! Thanks Van for getting our medical bills rolling in on the second day of the year. This was a trip to Target gone bad. He was in the back of the cart and fell out. He is always crawling in and out of the cart and falls often but this time on the way down he hit the metal shelving. It was so embarrassing the blood was everywhere and the workers flock to you. Needless to say I refused to fill out the paper work and left. We went to the urgent care which was also horrible. Van has always been terrified of masks or anything covering your face. When we walked into the urgent care a 6:30 at night it was full of people wearing the face masks, Van took one look and lost it. He was screaming, shaking, and yelling take me home. I went up the lady at the front and told her that I was going to wait outside until it was our turn she told me the next person to go out come in and they would take him right back. Cool there was no way I was going to tell them that he was screaming over masks and not over the injury. We were outside for about 2 minutes when they came out and took us in (still took 2 hours to get done). He was mad and cried the whole time. They wrapped him in a huge sheet, the nurse and I pretty much laid on him as the doc put his three stitches in. What a fun start to the new year!!
*just for the record Jason you were out varmint hunting during this adventure*
